Sunday, June 11th: Whitehall House & Gardens is pleased to welcome Richie Steffen, noted plant curator of the Elisabeth C. Miller Botanical Garden in Seattle, Washington.  Mr. Steffen will offer a fern lecture dedicated to an assortment of fantastic species, Victorian oddities and recent discoveries that have eluded widespread cultivation, at historic Whitehall on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 2:30 p.m.  Admission is $25 per person, payable at the door on the day of the event.  For more information, please visit www.HistoricWhitehall.org

Friday, June 16thWhitehall House & Gardens is pleased to announce that it will host its inaugural Garden Party at the historic mansion at 3110 Lexington Road on Friday, June 16. The festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a silent auction in the formal garden, followed by a seated dinner under the tent on the garden terrace. The dinner will immediately be followed at 9:00 p.m. by Late Night in the Garden, an after-party featuring an open bar and live music provided by Tony and the Tan Lines. Individual tickets to the Garden Party are $200 per person and include the late-night festivities. Tickets to the after-party only are $100 per person. Thursday, June 22nd:  POP! In partnership with John Johnson of The Wine Rack, the Peterson-Dumesnil House is hosting a French Sparkling Wine Tasting on Thursday, June 22 at 6:30pm. The event will be held on the lawn and feature live music from the Louisville Mandolin Orchestra and special giveaways. Attendees will enjoy a welcome cocktail and a flight of four French sparkling wine tastings and appetizers. Tickets are $59 and must be purchased online in advance. All proceeds benefit the Peterson-Dumesnil House Foundation and its mission to preserve and maintain the 154-year-old historic landmark.
