It’s Easter weekend and there is a plenty to do in D9!

Clifton Easter Egg Hunt

The 27th Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Bingham Park, sponsored by the Clifton Community Council and Clifton Baptist Church. There will be 1,500 eggs hidden in designated areas. Children will be divided into two groups by age. After the hunt, Clifton Baptist, 1947 Frankfort Avenue, will host fun activities including face-painting, bouncy houses, balloon art, hot dogs, music and more!

Crescent Hill Easter Egg Hunt

Join Crescent Hill residents at 10:00 a.m. at the Peterson-Dumesnil House, 301 S. Peterson Avenue, for Easter egg hunting fun, sponsored by the Crescent Hill Community Council. Children will be divided by age for simultaneous hunts on the property.

Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade

The Frankfort Avenue Business Association (FABA), the Clifton Community Council and the Crescent Hill Community Council invite you to attend the 25th Annual Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade on Saturday, April 15. Enjoy the Shriners, antique cars, homemade family floats, Hwang’s Martial Arts, Talking Police Car and Mounted Sheriff’s Posse. Plus, plenty of FREE candy! The parade will travel along Frankfort Avenue from Stilz to Pope Street, beginning at 11:30 a.m. We hope to see you there!

 

Easter Parade Road Closures

The 2017 Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade is this Saturday, April 15th. Both lanes of Frankfort Avenue will be closed to traffic from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from Stilz Avenue to Pope Street for the safety of the participants involved. There will be no parking on the street at that time and the side streets will be closed to Frankfort Avenue as well. POLICE WILL TOW!  

Kennedy Avenue from Grinstead to Frankfort, Crescent Court around the court and Crescent Avenue from English to Frankfort will be closed to through traffic during line-up from approximately 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. “NO PARKING, SPECIAL EVENTS” signs will be posted the Friday before.
